Shooting a Moving Subject
In the lt Q gt Full Auto mode, if the subject moves distance to camera changes during or after you focus, AI Servo AF will take effect to focus the subject continuously. As long as you keep aiming the AF point on the subject while pressing the shutter button halfway, the focusing will be continuous. When you want to take the picture, press the shutter button completely.
Redeye corr
Effective in flash images where the subject has red eye. When On is set, the red eye will be corrected for printing. About the Automatic SelfCleaning Sensor
Whenever you set the power switch to lt 0N gt or lt OFF gt , the sensor cleaning will be executed automatically. During the sensor cleaning, the LCD monitor will display lt f gt . Even during the sensor cleaning, you can still shoot by pressing the shutter button halfway p.35 to stop the sensor cleaning and take a picture. Getting Started
This chapter explains preparatory steps before you start shooting and basic camera operations. Pass the end of the strap through the camera's strap mount eyelet from the bottom.
